Cocoa Beach Event Recap
March 26,27 2022 The Great LonDini hosted a charitable event in cocoa beach to raise awareness in the 22 a day. We partnered up with Tackle 22 fishing who spreads awareness, prevention, and intervention for current and serving members and vets. Eddie from tackle 22 fishing takes these current serving members and vets fishing on his pontoon boat. In doing so it gives them a safe place to vent.
The first day of the event we came together to talk, eat, share stories, and have fun with those we met online and those we were meeting for the first time. Second day is where the work began, several vendors from TikTok which included service members, vets and their family, friends, and supporters. We had a diverse group of people coming together to support each other with like minded interest to end 22 a day with our vets. This event was a way for everyone to come together to share their personal stories, make memories and to raise money to help support tackle 22 fishing. The many stories that the men and women shared touched so many who fought for and supported the military. These members have fought for their country so we have the freedom to come together to spread awareness of all the struggles that our military members and vets have.
We as a movement have seen many people of different races ages and social backgrounds working together as one to help make this event one to remember. The passion and drive that went into putting this all together to make it successful and fun, is why I am happy to be a part of this family and had the pleasure of being at this wonderful event. Thank you to everyone who helped, came, supported, and believes in what we do.
Lion 5424 on TikTok says this event was amazing and I enjoyed my time in cocoa beach and had a great time and can't wait for the next event.
Ghostette said I wanted to take a moment to thank you for letting me be a part of The Great LonDini event in cocoa beach to help raise funds for our veterans. This was an amazing event and to see everyone come together for a great cause just ticked my heart. Keep doing what you do, making a difference in a positive way.
Canmilitarywife stated I loved the energy of the event. Everyone was so positive and interacted with everyone regardless of their follow size. We all had one purpose and that was to come together to raise as much as we could for Tackle22 fishing.
As some have stated their experiences, coming together can be staying positive focusing on what we can do for our brothers and sisters. That's what it is to be a part of The Great LonDini movement.
