Throwback Thursday

It’s Throwback Thursday, and with July winding down, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the simple joys of summers past.

Do you remember your favorite summer growing up?

Maybe it was the year you learned to ride a bike, stayed up late catching fireflies, or spent every afternoon at the neighborhood pool. Maybe it was a family road trip, backyard barbecues, or lazy days spent reading under a shady tree.

Summer memories have a way of sticking with us. They’re full of laughter, freedom, and the kind of magic that comes from long days and warm nights. And even though the world moves quickly, those golden memories remain tucked in our hearts—reminding us of who we were and what we cherished.

On this Throwback Thursday, we invite you to take a walk down memory lane:

Look through old summer photos
Share a story with your kids about your favorite childhood summer
Revisit a place you used to go each year
Or recreate a simple tradition—like making homemade popsicles or playing outside until the streetlights come on

Life can get busy, but taking time to reflect on the past helps us slow down and savor the present. And who knows—maybe the memories we’re making this summer will become someone’s favorite throwback years from now.

Here’s to the summers that shaped us, and the new ones still being written.
