Motivational Monday
Good morning, we have made it to another beautiful Monday. I hope that you had an amazing and an enjoyable weekend and took some time to unplug from your electronics, spend time with your family and friends and get back into nature.
Today I want to share some thoughts that I have learned while doing some training on becoming a better leader. Whether you are the leader in your employment or simply in your home these lessons can be used.
As a leader you will most likely not be remembered for what you did, what you knew or for our accolades, achievements and accomplishments. Most likely, you'll be remembered for how you made the people who you knew you or worked with and for you feel. Leadership is about serving others and when you learn this you will become a strong leader. To build a strong team, you must see someone else's strengths as a compliment to your weakness and not a threat to your position or authority. I know that we are often in competition with others at work to see who a better job can do but what if we start working together and making everything work like a well oiled machine. Everyone will start being in better moods and more partnerships can be formed.
Ernest Hemingway said : "There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self. "
I hope that you have found value in this message and I hope that you have the most amazing day. I look forward to seeing you next week , remember to always be kind as it costs nothing. If you see someone without a smile give them yours you really don't know whose life you could change.
