Mindful Mondays
Today I wanted to take a few minutes and give you 7 rules of life that have really helped me.
1.) Let It Go- Never ruin a good day by thinking about a bad yesterday because when you refuse to let it go it will rob you of your inner peace
2.) Ignore them- Don't listen to other people live a life that is empowering to you. No one can dictate your happiness.
3.) Give it Time- Time heals everything even though it doesn't feel like it time does help the heart heal.
4.) Don't Compare- The only person you should try to beat is the person you were yesterday. My favorite saying that I was taught is always beat yesterday's you with today's you.
5.) Stay Calm- It's ok to not have everything figured out. Know that in time you will get there. I know it's not easy to try to remember that the storms in life will pass but just like the storms in nature not everything lasts forever and you will come out stronger and better.
6.) It's on you- Only you are in charge of your own happiness. Remember that even though others try to rob you of your peace it's ok to say no and walk away from all those that try to rob you of your inner peace.
7.) Smile life is short- Enjoy your life while you have it as tomorrow is never promised and as Dolly Parton says If you see someone without a smile give them yours. It costs absolutely nothing to be kind and you will be surprised just how something as simple as a smile can make someone's whole day.
