Remembrance of 9/11

Good morning, we have made it to another beautiful Monday. I hope that you had an enjoyable weekend and took some time to unplug from your electronics and get back into nature.

Today is a day of remembrance of the many lives impacted by the worst terrorist attacks to ever hit inside of the USA. Today I want to ask that you take a moment of silence with me for all of the families who lost loved ones that day and if you know a hero who served that day thank them for their selfless sacrifice.

On September 11, 2001 We lost 2,753 lives inside of the Twin Towers, 184 people at the Pentagon, 40 lives aboard Flight 93 and 19 hijackers died. At 8:46am the North Tower was struck at 9:03 an the South Tower was struck 9:37am the Pentagon was struck 9:59am the SouthTower collapsed at 10:03 Flight 93 crashed in PA 10:28 North Tower Collapsed.

I want to share a quote with you that has stuck with me all of these years and it was from Sandy Dahl. She was the wife of Jason Dahl the pilot from flight 93 she said " If we learn nothing else from the tragedy, We learn that life is short and there is no time for hate."

On that September day the world stood still as we were all shocked and grieving from what had happened, but the most important day was the next morning why do you ask? Because that was the day we all came together as one. It didn't matter of your race, gender or religion we came together to show that we as people can perservere and that all we need is love for the human race

We all must learn to choose love over hate because when we do we are stronger together. When we choose to see people for their character instead of what is on the outside the world becomes a much brighter place and we can motivate and move mountains.

I hope that you have found value in this message and I hope that you take the time to grieve if today affects you but that you try have the most amazing day. I look forward to seeing you next week , remember to always be kind as it costs nothing. If you see someone without a smile give them yours you really don't know whose life you could change.
